STEP 1
If you're keen to join the team, download the below application form and email it to Levi our Ministry Coordinator
STEP 2
Download the refference form below and have two people complete if for you and send it to Levi our Minisrty Coordinator
Your referees can be: leaders, mentors, bosses, coaches, pastors, teachers, etc.: people of standing who know you reasonably well.
STEP 3
If you are over 17, fill in pages 2 & 3 of the police vet: email it to Levi our Ministry Coordinator!
Step 4
read through our leader powerpoint and then complete our online leader training and send the completed form to Levi our Ministry Coordinator
Leader Training
Download and read through this powerpoint before coming to camp to refresh yourself on the ins and outs of being a leader. Once you have read through this powerpoint click the button for the "online leader quiz" and complete the quiz. This quiz must be done once per year by ALL Leaders.
Too old to be a camper, too young to be a leader - but still keen to be involved? Awesome! Come as a PA and learn the basics of leadership and the drill of camp through practical service - discover that you've got what it takes to work hard and take responsibility in the midst of a fun, supportive team!
Junior or Senior
Once you've got some hands-on experience at camp, dive right into leading the campers full-time as a Junior Leader: support the senior leaders and learn from them as you spread your wings and enjoy the ride! Once you're ready and have shown your ability you will be promoted to Senior Leader: step up your leadership ability as you take responsibility for the campers under your care (and developing the junior leaders) - grow them, learn with them and have a blast!
You're enthusiastic, organised and love being up-front and center for all the action! You run the programme at camp: announcing what's next, setting up and running the games and activities, keeping a tally of team points, letting people go for dessert etc. Your job is to sell it and keep everyone engaged and loving it!
You're used to leading and ready for extra responsibility. You support the leaders, jump in to help them out practically and emotionally, fill a gap while someone's on break, help with lights out and are generally just a super-cool, encouraging person!
You lead the Programme Assistants, facilitate the timely and thorough completion of their duties (food prep&service, cleaning, set-up, etc.). You are their go-to, coming alongside them practically and spiritually, teaching leadership skills and fun teamwork.
