Partial Use Combinations
There are two site combinations on camp that are commonly utilised.
MAIN END: Graeme Cook Lodge (Bunk Rooms 6-10), Ritchie Kelly Hall and Kitchen, 2 x Twin Share Private Rooms .
TOP END: Gordon Pullar Lodge (Bunk Rooms 1-5), Pete Scarlet Hall and Kitchen, 2 x Twin Share Private Rooms.
When one group has booked the entire camp, it is the Ritchie Kelly Hall and Kitchen that is primarily utilised.
Dining Halls/Kitchens
There are two Hall/Kitchen combinations on site.
Each Kitchen is certified as a Commercial Kitchen and is fully stocked with all cutlery, plates and cooking equipment. Next to each Kitchen is a Dish Pit fitted with an industrial steriliser, that can sanitise a load every 4 minutes.
Ritchie Kelly Hall
Ritchie Kelly Hall and Kitchen - This is the larger of the two and accommodates dining for both lodges when the whole camp is booked by one group.
2 x Turbofan Ovens, Gas Stove with gas oven below, Cake Mixer, Rice Cooker (serves 90), Conveyer toaster, Wall mounted instant boiled water.
Plates, Cups and Cutlery. (More available in Pete Scarlet Hall for particularly large groups)
Tea towels and Clothes are provided. Extra are located in the laundry.
Pete Scarlet Hall
Pete Scarlet Hall and Kitchen - Can accommodate dining for up to 90 people.
1 x Turbofan oven, Gas Stove with gas oven below, Rice Cooker available upon request (serves 90), 2 x 4 slice toasters, Wall mounted instant boiled water.
Plates, Cups and Cutlery.
Tea towels and Clothes are provided. Extra are located in the laundry.
Bunk Rooms
Our Bunk Rooms are split into two Lodges.
The Gordon Pullar Lodge has Bunk Rooms 1-5.
The Graeme Cook Lodge has Bunk Rooms 6-10
Each bunk rooms sleeps 16 people and has its own private en-suite. Bunk Rooms 1 and 6 have facilities for disabled campers.
Private Rooms
There are six Private Rooms on site.
Room A - 2x single beds
Room B - 2x single bed
Room C - 2x single beds
Room D - 2x single beds
Room E - 1 x Single with pull out underneath
Each private room has the use of shared bathroom facilities.
Private Room D and E have a door between them that can be opened for families.
Cottage
The Cottage has two bedrooms separated by a shared kitchenette, bathroom and lounge.
Left Room: Queen, Single + 1 Trundler
Right Room: 3 Singles + 1 Trundler
Laundry
Laundry facilities include one washer and one dryer. This is where spare tea towels and dish clothes are kept. There are lines to hang towels and other clothes on at each lodge as well as next to the laundry facility.
Spent one night and two days here for a Scouts NZ event. Good functioning kitchens and dorms. Warm and dry with a lot of fun to be had.
